Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us and Uncharted writer, has again confirmed that the makers of the Uncharted movie has not their support at all, and the developers themselves have never seen any of the script. Joe Carnahan, the writer of the Uncharted movie, said on the contrary that the Californian software house was offering its support and was happy.
Carnahan said that “I’ve heard is the Naughty Dog guys are really happy with it. But who knows? That could be like Donald Trump hearing something; that may not be true at all.” Something Druckmann totally debunked from his personal Twitter account, revealing that he or anyone from the software house has seen anything from the Uncharted movie.
“A recent quote from the writer of the Uncharted film. We know nothing about the film. Wish he’d stop implying that he has our support,” Neil Druckmann commented, opening an internal debate between all Sony parts whether the makers of the games and those of the movie have ever talked tp each other. If they’ve never, they really should for the good of the project.
