Electronic Arts and Visceral Games are working on a brand new Star Wars game, which is a third-person action game. Uncharted writer Amy Hennig is working on the project as a co-writer with Todd Stashwick. Apart from the fact that this upcoming Star Wars game is going to be a third-person action game, no other details are know.
Nolan North, the voice actor behind Nathan Drake of Uncharted franchise, in an interview at Metrocon 2015, discussed the departure of Amy Hennig from Naughty Dog and shared some interesting details on this new Star Wars game from Visceral Games.
Nolan revealed that Amy Hennig is rebooting a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted. No further details were shared, but Nolan added that he knows many more thing about the project but can’t talk about it and assured Star Wars fans that “it’s going to be awesome”.
“If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted,” he said. “I happen to know a lot about it and it’s going to be awesome.”
When quizzed further, whether Amy’s Star Wars game is the cancelled “Star Wars 1313”? Nolan said: “it’s different,” but “along the same lines.”
