Last year’s Doom was a success on the PC and other platforms. The game had great visuals, fast-paced action and a good narrative. In 2017, Doom was ported to the Switch. And porting to a less powerful handheld console did not affect the gameplay at all and became successful on the Switch as well.
The same studio behind porting of Doom is now working on porting Wolfenstein 2: The new Colossus. This was confirmed by Tommy Tordsson Bjork, narrative designer, MachineGames and AndreasOjerfors, Senior game designer, in an interview with GameReactor.
Öjerforssaid, “They’re experts at the Switch, and now they’re experts with the (id Tech 6) engine so we work with them, and the Doom version turned out to be really kick-ass on the Switch so I think Wolfenstein will be the same.”
Release date for Wolfenstein 2 on Nintendo Switch is yet to revealed, so stay tune for further updates and do let us know in comments if you are excited to play Wolfestein 2 on the switch.
