Microsoft’s Major Nelson has revealed Team Xbox plans for GamesCom 2017, scheduled to take place in Cologne, Germany. Nelson revealed that a total of 27 games will be playable at GamesCom on Xbox One family of devices (i.e. Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X) and PC, including Forza 7 and Age of Empires Definitive Edition and Sea of Thieves.

August 20: At 9 PM CEST, There will be a special live show hosted by Graeme Boyd and Xbox Germany head Max Graeff. The duo will share news (new game announcements have been confirmed, but not E3 Level announcements), show games, talk to developers, play some of the latest games that are yet to be released. Major Nelson has promised few giveaways and surprises as well during this session. So make sure you tune in on Mixer on time.
August 21 – Age of Empires: At 9 PM CEST, the 20th Anniversary of Age of Empires will be celebrated with a special live stream event in Cologne. Microsoft will also unveil the first look of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, the remastered edition of this bona fide classic Team Xbox announced at E3 2017. In addition to this, there will be a special developer session where Team Xbox will have a chat with some of the legendary developers who worked on the games.
August 22: Xbox FanFest – FanFest returns, it will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd. Team Xbox will be sharing more details on their plans soon. So stay tuned to Gamepur.
And last but not the least, Xbox Booth at Gamescom 2017 –
Gamescom 2017 opens at the Koelnmesse on Tuesday, August 22, starting from that day itself gamers in Germany will be able to get hands on Xbox One X for the first time at the Xbox booth. The booth will be located in Hall 8 of the Koelnmesse, North entrance.
