Phil Spencer is not new to comments about the upcoming Xbox One games, the so-called first party lineup for 2017, and this time around he’s been even more specific detailing that the Microsoft is going to have first party games in comparison with 2016. Of course, he did that talking with fans on Twitter, as he loves so much to.
“I feel very good about this year. Should have more 1P games than last year, great diversity + launching new IP. Good year,” he told one Twitter user. “I’m eager to show what we have as well. Should be a fun year.”
Another user asked whether first party games could be like Dead Rising 4, coming from ‘second party’ partnership with external developers, and Spencer himself answered that he’s meaning exclusively titles built in Microsoft Studios. So Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, Halo Wars 2, State of Decay 2. On top of that, we’re also listing Cuphead and Below.
Is this good enough for you? Remember Project Scorpio is dropping by the end of the year, as well.
