• PSPgo hacked, Kingdom Hearts gameplay videos shown

    Earlier this week we reported a news regarding Playstation 3 getting hacked, now if reports roaming around gaming industry is  to believe then, PSPgo has been hacked too and you can play your own software on it.


    As a proof to this claim two videos are revealed by blogger Wololo, which shows Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep running on PSPgo all thanks to an ISO loader homebrew.

  • Kaos: Next Homefront could set in London

    Jeremy Greiner, Kaos Community boss stated that there is every possibility in future gamers can see Homefront set in London.


    Jeremy said, “This isn’t an American flag waver. It’s really important to us that people all over the world can identify with the themes of occupation,”

    “We’re not interested in triggering American patriotism. Hopefully those themes will be universal.

    “So absolutely, we could do a Homefront London. We’ve even joked on our Twitter that we could do a Homefront Reykjavik. We can do anything.”

    We all are aware that in Homefront we sees North Koreans invades a weakened US, and details about Homefront 2 already confirmed by Bilson, it takes place on the other side of the Mississippi, nobody knows what’s going on over there because the North Koreans have irradiated the Mississippi with radioactive iodine and nobody can cross it without a hazmat suit. It’s very interesting stuff.

    Homefront is schedule to release on March 8 United States and on March 11 in United Kingdom.

  • John Riccitiello: Kinect or Move supported FPS "really hard to imagine"

    Electronic Art CEO, John Riccitiello has said that he really find hard it to imagine a FPS like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor, with Kinect or Move support in future.

    In an interview to IndustryGamers, Riccitiello said:

    "I've had a number of people ask me, 'Will gesture-based gaming replace controllers? I don't think so."

    "It's really hard to imagine that I'm going to play a future edition of Medal of Honor, or Call of Duty, or Battlefield, hiding behind my couch, making a gun out of my finger. I've tried driving with gesture-based controls; I don't really like it."

    He further adds that "I think that there will be genres where the gesture-based gaming... will actually be the superior way to play. Dance games, music games, exercise games. It's really hard to imagine an exercise game with your thumbs,"

  • EA removed Tiger Woods from the cover of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters

    Electronic Arts has announced Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters, but with a little surprise and also the suffix "The Masters", the presence of the golfer "Tiger Woods" that gives its name to the title has been comletely removed from the cover.

  • Electronic Arts to shut down video game servers

    Electronic Arts is planning the shutdown of several servers for various video games from its own portfolio.


    EA regarding this decision said, “These decisions to retire games is never easy,”

    “The development teams and operational staff pour their hearts into these games almost as much as the customers playing them and it is hard to see one retired. We hope you have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the games and we appreciate your ongoing patronage.”

  • Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 register big sales figure during 2010 in U.K

    According to the annual report of the Interactive Entertainment Association UK (UKIE), the gaming market in the UK last year registered a decline in sales of over 13% in comparision to 2009 figure.

    Its latest report reveals that total sales of hardware and software amounted to 4.8 billion dollars, which equals 2.26 billion sale of video games. 

    The most lucrative market was of Xbox 360 it managed to sell 18.2 million software units, while PlayStation 3 followed behind with 13.8 million. 

    As for hardware, the fight between the two was more even with the Xbox 360 reaching a total of $361 million, while PlayStation 3 nearly tied with $357 million.

    The peripheral market achieved the not inconsiderable figure of 25.8 million units ($848 million).

    UKIE did not reveal sales figure details for Nintendo.

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops "Movement speed problem" fixed

    Good news for all Black Ops online player as "Movement speed problem" which they were facing while playing the game online has now been fixed.

    Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version of the game was facing this issue of Movement speed issue because of slight problem with the latest hotfix.

    Josh Olin, Treyarch Community Manager wrote on his twitter account:

    "The movement speed decrease on #CODBlackOps 360 & PS3 was unintentional, now fixed, restart your games and all will be normal."

    To this Davis Vonderhaar added: "Xbox still feel slow? Be sure your version number says and if not reboot again."

  • Modern Combat: Domination Debut Trailer Out Now

    Gameloft, Publisher and Developer of Modern Combat series has revealed debut trailer for their PS3 exclusive "Modern Combat: Domination". The trailer is somewhat corny but gives out many details about the game.

    Modern Combat: Domination is a 16 player online shooter, and features 6 gameplay mode, 5 different maps. Its carries a price tag of $7.99.

  • Activision threatens to quit United Kingdom over Tax Break Issue

    Activision Blizzard, which employs a total of 600 workers in the United Kingdom, may shift their operations to other countries due to the "terrible decision" of the British government not to grant tax breaks to game developers in the country.

    Bobby Kotick, Activision President said, "I think it was a terrible mistake, there are so many other places that are encouraging the video games industry."

    In March 2010 former Chancellor Alistair Darling announced that the government would offer tax incentives for the sector, as is the film industry, however those plans were scrapped due to cutbacks and the new coalition government in June.
