The Solstice of Heroes event has begun in Destiny 2. Guardians have access to an exclusive armor set they can upgrade it as they participate in the event. Going about to upgrade this armor varies based on the level of the wearer.
How To Upgrade Solstice Armor in Destiny 2
When you first start the event, you need to speak to Eva at the front of the courtyard. Talking to her, she’ll explain to you what the event is all about and why your participation matters. Following the first interaction, she’s going to give your first piece of the armor, the helmet. The rest you need to collect from the statue. To do so, approach it, meditate, and you should receive the remaining pieces in your inventory.
The first part of the armor set is labeled drained. There are three levels Guardians are going to work through during this event. The armor begins at Drained and then continues up to Renewed, Majestic, and then Masterwork. The main goal for every Guardian during this event is to try and acquire a complete set of Majestic armor.
Upgrading the Solstice Armor
To enhance the armor, Guardians need to complete the quests attached to each armor piece. These quests change as Guardians improve their pieces. You do need to complete all of the quests in the respective armor level to advance to the next rank. You cannot skip, or go up the line with a single piece of armor. There’s an armor set for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans.

- Unlock 10 Solstice packages

- Kill enemies in the EAZ using the Solar subclass
Solstice Strides
- Complete 5 Public Events on Nessus
- Defeat enemies with Super abilities
- Defeat Guardians in Crucible or Gambit
Solstice Cloak
- Complete 5 Adventures
- Collect 5 Arc Orbs in Strikes
- Complete 5 Crucible or Gambit matches
Titan Renewed Armor
Solstice Helm
- Complete a run through the EAZ

Solstice Gauntlets
- Defeat enemies in the EAZ
- Get super kills against enemies in the EAZ
- Defeat enemies in the EAZ using an Arc Subclass
