Because Heatmor is a Fire-type, you will have a chance to catch Shiny Heatmor during the Fire Habitats, which begins at 12 pm and 5 pm ET, and 2 pm and 7 pm PT. Shiny Heatmor will appear in the wild, so make sure you are playing the game during these hours, and trying to catch plenty of Pokémon.
If you really want to take advantage of all the increased spawn rates, and the chance to catch Shiny Heatmor, make sure you also have plenty of incense to attract Pokémon during the Fire Habitat hours.
You will also have a chance to get Shiny Charmander, Shiny Ponyta, Shiny Marowak, Shiny Magmar, Shiny Houndour, and Shiny Torchic during the Fire Habitat.
