    Guerrilla Cambridge has just released patch 1.04 for Killzone: Mercenary. The update is now available for download via PSN and it weighs around 8MB in size.

    As per the details revealed in the changelog, Killzone: Mercenary patch 1.04 fixes stability, improves multiplayer balancing and many more things.

  • Killzone: Mercenary Developer Working On Unannounced PS4 Title Hints Job Listing

    Guerrilla Cambridge, the developer behind Playstation VITA exclusive "Killzone: Mercenary" seems to be working on an unannounced Playstation 4 project.  The studio today posted few new job openings, they are looknig for a senior environment artist and senior graphics programmer.

    According to the details in the job listing, senior environment artist will be responsible to demonstrate PS3/PS4 quality texturing (diffuse, normal and specular maps) and should have a development experience on recent AAA console games.

    Now comes the interesting point, Playstation 4 has been mentioned as the plaforms and console game experience is mention as a must have experience for both job listing. This very much confirms that new project from Guerrilla Cambridge will arrive on PS4, but what it could be we have no idea.

  • Killzone Mercenary: Second Massive Patch Incoming, Weighs 1190MB, All Changes Detailed

    Sony has just announced massive second patch for Killzone: Mercenary. The update weighs around 1190MB in size and will arrive soon.

    Killzone: MercenaryThis new patch installs, the first patch will essentially be deleted, but you will need the extra space initially. This download is necessary in order to pave the way for future planned revisions to the game.

    The main focus for the second patch has been in targeting some of the connectivity issues that have been experienced over the last month. Sony is also hoping that many players who were previously unable to connect into the community will now be able to enjoy Killzone: Mercenary to its fullest.

    The other main area of work has been to provide a better distribution of respawn points across all game modes. The intention here is to give a better balance to the multiplayer games.

    With this new patch Sony has also addressed the issue that some of players were reporting with loadout slots not being unlocked, in addition to problems with the melee medal (which was always being awarded as a “bronze”).

    Additionally there are also a number of stability fixes, to address some of the crashes that have been reported.

  • Killzone: Mercenary Day One Patch 1.5 GB in Size, Details Revealed

    Killzone: Mercenary will arrive today on retail shelves in Europe, along with the game comes a massive over 1 GB day one patch to fix stability issues and optimize performance.

    Killzone: MercenaryAccording to reports coming out from SixAxis, Killzone: Mercenary Day One Patch is 1190MB (i.e 1.2 GB in size). This mean a digital copy of the game will require 4.5 GB of memory card space rather than 3.3 GB install.

  • Famitsu awards Killzone: Mercenary An Excellent Review Score of 34/40

    Yesterday the first review score of upcoming PS VITA exclusive "Killzone: Mercenary" arrived via OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) Benelux, it was 9/10.

    For those who are unaware of, video games are graded in Famitsu by a panel of four video game reviewers. Each reviewer gives a score from zero to ten (ten being best). The scores of the four reviewers are then added up with a possible score of forty.
