Remedy is working on Control, its next IP, but has still a place in its heart for Alan Wake. In a recent interview, Mikael Kasurinen from the developer talked about the chance that we could see a new game (Alan Wake 2) in the franchise sooner or later, and he said that all the team at Remedy is willing to do something in that universe.
At E3 2018, Remedy Entertainment revealed their brand new IP called Control (previously codename P7). It is a 3rd person action-adventure game that will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.
Remedy's Thomas Puha has provided an update on Quantum Break Xbox One X patch that will carry fix for some of the left over graphical glitches. A proper update on the patch will be provided later this week, added Puha.
We still don't know what it is, but definitely we know when to expect it to release: 2019. Maybe we'll learn more about it at this year's E3? In the meantime, another title has entered the production stage and seems set to launch right after P7.
