How to Change The Difficulty Setting in Jedi: Fallen Order

You can change the difficulty option whenever you’re playing Jedi: Fallen Order

Recommended Videos

You have four difficulty options when you first jump into Jedi: Fallen Order, they are Story Mode, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, and Jedi Grand Master. You have the choice to go with the hardest option, Jedi Grand Master, or the easier, Story Mode, but you may find the gameplay too difficult or too easy.

To change your mind, you can modify the setting whenever you’re playing the game.

Changing the Difficulty Setting in Jedi: Fallen Order

To do this, open up the game’s main menu and proceed to the “Settings” portion. From there, you’re going to see a list on the left side of your screen. You want to go down to “Gameplay,” and changing the difficulty should be the first option. All players are going to see a little bit of information on each difficulty setting.

  • Story Mode gives players more time to parry, and they won’t take as much damage from enemy attacks
  • Jedi Knight gives players a generous amount of time to parry, but the enemies are more aggressive and deal more damage
  • Jedi Master is the ideal balance for parry time, incoming damage, and aggressive enemies. Those who are comfortable with action-adventure games are likely going to want to choose this option.
  • Jedi Grand Master gives players the least amount of time to parry, has the most incoming damage, and the enemies are extremely aggressive. Those who pick this option may want to save it for their second playthrough.

You can change your choice at any time playing the game, except during combat.
