If you have been worried about running Doom Eternal on your PC, then worry no more. We finally have an idea about the specs you will need to run, and the specs you will need to get the most out of it. id Software has released the minimum and recommended specs for the game, along with what you will need to push the new id Tech 7 engine to its limit.
The minimum specs show below will get you 60 FPS at 1080p, on low-quality settings. The recommended specs will get you 1440p, 60 FPS, and high-quality settings.
Minimum (1080p/60 fps/Low Quality Settings):
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7/64-Bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or better, or AMD Ryzen 3 @ 3.1 GHz or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1050Ti (4GB), GTX 1060 (3GB), GTX 1650 (4GB), or AMD Radeon R9 280 (3GB), AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB) or RX 470 (4GB)
- Storage: 50 GB available space
Recommended (1440p/60 fps/High Quality Settings):
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB), RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX Vega56 (8GB)

The specs imply a pretty big step up in what is happening behind the scenes in the game’s engine. The minimum specs are close to the recommended space from the last installment, and the recommended GPUs are all pretty recent releases or one of the most ahead of its time cards ever in the form of the GTX 1080.
