Apple is looking to shake up the mobile gaming market. They created Apple Arcade, a subscription service giving you access to a library of games you can play on your Apple devices. At just $4.99 a month, it’s a welcome change from the freemium model currently dominating the mobile industry.

The service offers a curated selection of games that are going to expand each month. It’s a service giving you plenty of bang for your buck when it comes to entertaining yourself during those long commutes. Your Apple Arcade subscription also works across all your Apple devices. Those who are firmly in the Apple ecosystem are going to get even more value from the service.

Games download to your device. They do not get streamed to it, meaning offline play is a possibility for when you need it.
