Fortnite went down, and then it came back up. When it came back up in the latest update, there’s a whole new world for players to explore. Not only are players going to get the chance to complete a unique array of challenges with new weapons and guns, but they have the opportunity to gain new skins. Skins are a huge component in Fortnite, allowing players to make their characters stand out from the standard choices. In this guide, we’re going to cover the newest skins to arrive in Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 update.
All New Skins in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1
There are a handful of skins available in Fortnite. When players first jump into the game, they’re going to need to go through their first match. After that, players have the option to purchase the game’s battle pass. The battle pass is going to be active for a certain amount of time during Chapter 2’s first season. Players can expect their battle pass to level up with them, giving them access to exclusive items. Those who do not want to pay for the pass can take part in the free version. However, when you buy the pass, you are going to get more in-game cosmetic items.
Here are all of the available skins for the first season:
Each of the cosmetic options come with a uniquely alternative style a player can choose to place on if they complete a specific challenge. The challenges are only available for those who purchase the battle pass. Here are the current styles with their alternative looks.
8-Ball and Scratch
Every group needs the odd person out to look like they showed up to the costume party wearing the wrong outfit. Despite this, 8-ball and Scratch look great in their ninja wear and players who want to show how sneaky and silent they are need to get these skins. It’s on level 60 of the battle pass.
Cameo and Chic
Those who love to party on the party bus before they drop in are going to love Cameo and Chic. These two are eager to hang out and have a good time playing Fortnite. They’re on level 80 of the battle pass.
This skin is the final level of the battle pass. To get this, players are going to need to go through the entire pass, getting to level 100, and making it to the end before time runs out. The battle pass is going to be around for 60 days in total, so make sure you can check it out now.
Journey and Hazard
Turn the lovely adventurer into an adventurer with a black outfit, and green outlines. Both of these skins are ready to climb and check out the new map. Players are likely going to receive this one, too, given it comes with the battle pass.
Remedy and Toxin
You’re going to modify this helpful medic into a lover of toxic messes. Make sure you check out her challenges to make her look like she’s about to open up a chemical factory. These are on level 40 of the battle pass.
Rippley and Sludge
This skin is the friendly pool-like monster shown during the trailer of the game. You’re going to get an alternative version of this that’s going to turn him red and look even worse for wear. These are one level 20 of the battle pass.
Turk and Riptide
Those who purchase the battle pass are extremely likely to get Turk since he’s the first one. Players are going to need to complete his challenge to receive the Riptide alternative skin.
Bonus: Borderlands 3 Psycho
For players who grabbed Borderlands 3 from the Epic Game Store are going to have access to this Psycho skin when they first jump into the game. Those who purchased the game do not have to grab the battle pass to wear this skin.
Good luck getting the alternative skin, Fortnite players. Enjoy chapter 2 of the game.
