Get your toddlers to age up quickly in The Sims 4.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Parenthood is full of chapters: you watch them grow from a baby to a toddler to a child, and eventually, into an adult. Now, while many will tell you that those years go by too fast, in the world of The Sims 4, sometimes they don’t go by fast enough. You are going to want to accelerate the aging of your children in order to progress in whatever it is you are trying to do.

The good news is that you don’t have to just wait for the kids to get older; there are plenty of things you can do to help age your kids up. Take toddlers for example: there is a very easy way to age up your toddler into a child.

All you will have to do is get an adult Sim to bake a cake, any kind of cake. Just select the Sim, then click on an Oven and select Cook. Select any of the cakes available and let them cook.

Once the cake has been baked, click on it again and select the option to put on Birthday Candles. After this, select the cake again and choose “Help Blow Out Candles”. This will allow you to choose the toddler you want to age up.

The adult Sim will pick up the toddler and have them blow out the candles with them. This will cause the toddler to age up into a child. It’s as easy as that.
