How to Get a Grimoire in Clover Time

Here's how to get a Grimoire in Clover Time and use Crystal Mana to roll for new Grimoires at the altar.

Grimoires are an important part of your character in Clover Time, giving you access to different abilities and bonuses as you progress. Getting one is fairly simple once you know where to go, but the game doesn’t make the process immediately obvious. Here’s how to get a Grimoire and roll for new ones in Clover Time.

How to Get a Grimoire in Clover Time

To get a Grimoire in Clover Time, you need to travel to the Grimoire Tower and use the altar inside. The Grimoire Tower is the main location you’ll use when you want to obtain or reroll your Grimoire. Make sure you have enough Crystal Mana before attempting multiple rolls. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

  1. Find the Teleport NPC (Finral) in your current area.
  2. Talk to the NPC to open the teleport menu.
  3. Select Grimoire Tower from the list of options.
  4. Once you arrive, head toward the back of the tower.
  5. Interact with the altar to roll for a Grimoire.
  6. Spend Crystal Mana to roll for a new Grimoire.

How to Drop a Grimoire

By default, you can carry only two Grimoires at a time. To drop a Grimoire and free up space for a new one, go to Menu (on the left side) → Inventory → Select a Grimoire → Drop. After you’ve dropped a Grimoire, you’ll have two minutes to pick it back up before it is destroyed.

What Is Crystal Mana Used For?

Crystal Mana is used at the Grimoire altar to roll for new Grimoires. If you’re planning to reroll repeatedly, you’ll want to save up enough Crystal Mana before heading to the Grimoire Tower. The best way to get Crystal Mana for free is to use Clover Time codes.
