How to Get Living Shards in CONTROL Resonant

There are several ways to obtain Living Shards in CONTROL Resonant:

1. Complete main story quests: Some major story missions reward Living Shards when completed.
2. Complete side quests and Faults: Optional activities, including Fault sequences, can reward additional Living Shards.
3. Defeat Resonant bosses: Some major encounters provide Living Shards as rewards.
4. Visit Vendors: Vendors around Manhattan can sell Living Shards for 4,000 Source each.
5. Increase Zone ranks: Some Vendors expand their inventory as you increase the rank of their Zone, giving you access to additional Living Shards.

Can You Farm Living Shards?

Living Shards don’t have a normal repeatable enemy drop, so you can’t simply grind enemies to farm an unlimited supply. Your main sources are progression rewards and the limited stock available from Vendors.

If you’re short on Living Shards, continuing the story and completing Faults and other optional activities is the easiest way to get more. You can also spend your accumulated Source at Vendors when they have a Shard available.
