Trickster is one of the Fighting Styles currently available in Grand Blue, but unlike the others, you can’t simply pay a trainer to learn it. You will need to first obtain two skills and a quest, which can be tricky. To help you out, here is our quick guide on how to get Trickster in Grand Blue.
How to Unlock Trickster in Grand Blue
To get the Trickster Fighting Style in Grand Blue, you need to complete these steps in order:
- Complete Loki’s quest in Anchor Town (he is located at the docks, as shown in the image further below).
- Get the Pickpocket and Pocket Sand skills by killing Afuaru, The Hoarder (will require multiple kills).
- Learn both skills by using them from your inventory.
- Travel to Clown Town (open the map to find its location).
- Find Loki on the Ferris wheel on the far end of the island.
- Complete his quest and pay 1,000 Gold to unlock Trickster.
Where to Find Loki in Anchor Town
First, find Loki near the harbor in Anchor Town, as shown in the image below. He is sitting near the water and gives you a quest that requires several food items. Complete the quest and return to Loki. This step is required before the Loki NPC appears in Clown Town.
How to Get Pickpocket and Pocket Sand
Next, you need to defeat Afuaru, The Hoarder in Anchor Town until you obtain both Pickpocket and Pocket Sand. Both skills have a ~10% drop chance, so you may need to defeat The Hoarder several times before getting both. Make sure you learn both skills after obtaining them, as simply having the skill scrolls isn’t enough to fulfill the Trickster requirements.
How to Find Loki in Clown Town
Once you’ve completed Loki’s Anchor Town quest and learned both prerequisite skills, sail to Clown Town. Head to the carnival area and climb the Ferris wheel. Loki is sitting in one of the Ferris wheel carriages near the top, so you’ll need to jump across the wheel’s beams and cars to reach him. Talk to Loki to start the final part of the Trickster unlock. You’ll need to pay 1,000 Gold to unlock Trickster after fulfilling the requirements.
