How to play the Clawbringer in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

The strength of the god's is on your side.

Be the noble paladin that you’ve always wanted to be! Or choose the Clawbringer. It’s close enough, right? The Clawbringer is one of the tankier classes in Wonderlands. It can take a hit and then strike back with a mighty vengeance. This glass is dragon-themed, granting you dragon abilities and a wyvern companion for that all-important backup. If this sounds like the class for you, then here is everything you need to know about the Clawbringer in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Throwing your hammer is better

As the Clawbringer, you get your wyvern companion as your feat. Along with that, you get your mighty hammer that is reminiscent of a certain Norse god’s (but much bigger). You get your option of two action skills. The first one, Cleansing Flames, makes your slam your hammer down on unsuspecting foes. This attack deals a large amount of AOE fire damage and scales off your ability damage. The other action skill, Storm Dragon’s Judgement, has you throw your hammer. This deals lightning melee damage to all enemies that it touches and the enemies around where it lands. Pressing your action skill button a second time will cause you to recall the hammer. This action skill tends to be much better than the former and you should equip it as soon as you reach level seven.

All about skills

The Clawbringer is the king of dealing status effect damage. Almost every skill they possess deals either fire or lightning damage. On top of that, they have skills that help them with their survivability in battle. Here are some of the best skills their tree has to offer:

  • Rebuke: You gain increased damage reduction. Additionally, all damage dealt to allies is reflected to the attacker as lightning ability damage.
  • Dragon Aura: You are surrounded by an aura that grants you and your allies increased elemental damage.
  • Indomitable: If you were to enter Save Your Soul, you instead refill your ward and deal bonus lightning damage. This skill has a long cooldown of 120 seconds.
  • Storm Smite: Whenever you activate your action skill, you call down elemental bolts that deal fire and lightning ability damage.
  • Awe: Whenever you deal fire damage, you gain increased critical hit damage. Whenever you deal lightning damage, you gain increased critical hit chance.
  • Oath of Thunder: You deal bonus lightning damage on your melee damage.

If you plan on playing a Clawbringer, you should consider raising your strength, dexterity, attunement, and wisdom. While not all of these stats are recommended, they will help the Clawbringer deal extra damage. If you are keen on using your action skill, raise your attunement to use it more often. Strength will get you a ton of extra damage whenever you get a critical hit. Dexterity will increase your chances of getting critical hits. Last, but not least, wisdom will increase your status damage for all of your lightning and fire attacks.

The ultimate class combos

If melee damage is what you love about the Clawbringer, you should consider mixing it with the Brrzerker. The combination of these two classes can wreak havoc on enemies. Swing down your mighty melee weapon whether it is a hammer, sword, or pickaxe, and deal increased damage all around. The Enrage feat helps give you extra frost damage. The Brrzerker class tree also gains increased melee damage and some skills even increase your AOE damage.

Another great class to combine with the Clawbringer is the Spore Warden. The Spore Warden’s tree focuses on action skill damage and elemental damage. This can translate to tremendous AOE damage that will leave your foes begging for mercy. You can also take advantage of the mushroom companion to craft a damage-heavy companion build that can also dish out tons of status effects.
