In Pokemon Masters, you build your team from Sync Pairs, which consist of a Trainer and their signature Pokemon. In this guide, we run through everything we know about how to power up your Pokemon.
In Pokemon Masters, you build teams from a collection of famous Pokemon trainers and their signature Pokemon to engage in 3v3 battles. Your ultimate goal is to win the Pokemon Masters League. When you first get your trainers and their Pokemon, they are at a particular power level and have access to specific abilities, but you can power them up.
How To Power Up Pokemon In Pokemon Masters
There are three main ways to power up your Pokemon in Pokemon Masters. Your Trainers and Pokemon will have a set level, but as you progress through the story, you will earn XP that will increase this level. While all trainers and Pokemon have a level cap that you eventually hit, this level cap is increased using specific items you can find in the game.
Your Pokemon will also learn passive abilities as you play through the game. The passive skills will provide them various buffs, but precisely what the skills do will depend on the Pokemon.
Finally, each sync pair have a star Level. The star Level gets increased by using star power-up items. Using a star power-up item increases both the overall power and the level cap, for that sync pair.
For now, that is everything we know about to level up your Pokemon and Trainers in Pokemon Masters. We will be updating this guide as we learn more.
