Football Manager is all about making your way to the top. To do that you’re going to need players of significant talent. Sure, you can buy a ready-made player, but be prepared to pay a premium for them, and then there’s no guarantee that you’ll get value for your money.
When it comes to wonderkids, you’re almost guaranteed to be getting a player that’s going to be in your first team in the future. In some instances, you’re getting a player that is ready to slot straight into your team, and they will only increase in value.
In typical Football Manager fashion, regen players will take over all of the wonderkid slots after a few years of academy youth intake generations, but there’s plenty of up and coming superstars that you can pick at now.
