The Sinnoh Throwback Challenge will begin in Pokémon Go on May 22. Much like the other Throwback Challenges, the rewards will center on Pokémon from the selected region, in this case, Sinnoh.
We don’t have all the challenges yet but will be swiftly updating this article when they go live in the game on May 22.
Step 1
- Catch a Rock-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Catch 3 Grass, Water or Fire-type Pokémon – 10 Poké Balls
- Power up a Pokémon – Burmy encounter
Rewards: Rare Candy, Cranidos Encounter, 2 Golden Razz Berry
Step 2
- Catch a Grass-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Take a snapshot of a Grass-type Pokémon – 5 Razz Berries
- Send a gift to a friend – Combee encounter
Rewards: Rare Candy, Grotle Encounter, 2 Silver Pinap Berries
Step 3
- Catch a Fighting-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Make 3 Nice throws – Magnetic Lure
- Hatch an egg – Bronzor Encounter
Rewards: Rare Candy, Monferno Encounter, 2 Golden Razz Berries
Step 4
- Catch a Water-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Earn a candy from walking with your buddy – 10 Great Balls
- Catch a Ground-type Pokémon – Skorupi encounter
Rewards: Rare Candy, Prinlup Encounter, 2 Silver Pinap Berries
Step 5
- Catch a Ghost-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Battle another trainer – Charged TM
- Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon (any type of Berries will do) – 1 Sinnoh Stone
Rewards: Rare Candy, Drifloon Encounter, 2 Golden Razz Berries
Step 6
- Catch a Steel-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Give 3 treats to your buddy – Hippopotas encounter
- Catch a Steel-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
Rewards: Rare Candy, Shieldon Encounter, 2 Silver Pinap Berries
Step 7
- Catch an Ice-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Evolve a Pokémon – Gible encounter
- Earn a candy from walking with your buddy – Glacial Lure
Rewards: Rare Candy, Abomasnow Encounter, 2 Golden Razz Berries
Step 8
- Catch an Electric-type Pokémon – 500 Stardust
- Power-up a Pokémon 3 times – Starpiece
- Make 3 Great throws – Fast TM
Rewards: Rare Candy, Shinx Encounter, 2 Silver Pinap Berries
Step 9
- Claim reward – 3,000 XP
- Claim reward – 3,000 XP
- Claim reward – 3,000 XP
Rewards: 10 Rare Candies and Cresselia encounter
Cranidos, Shieldon, Glameow, Chingling, Bonsly, Happiny, Gible, Munchlax, Riolu, and Mantyke will be appearing in 7km Eggs during this event.
