Little Nightmares II is full of collectibles, and finding them all will be to achieving 100% completion. Some are more difficult to find than others, though, including all hat locations in Tarsier Studios’ horror adventure title.
There are eight hats to find, and we have revealed their locations below if you are struggling to find any. Hats are tied to two Xbox achievements or PlayStation trophies, and these are:
- Far Ahead – Hats are very important to some people (75 gamerscore or gold trophy). You have to collect all eight hats to unlock it.
- Half Hat – It would be cliche to collect them all (35 gamerscore or bronze trophy). Collect four of the eight hats to unlock this one.
Furskin hat
Found during Chapter One. After you have exited the kitchen in the first house you come across, walk down the corridor towards the screen.
Turn to your right and head into the side room past a table in the hallway. The hat is sitting on a rug.
Raincoat hat
Once you have crossed the broken bridge using Six’s help in Chapter One. There will be multiple metal crates next to a tree.
You can see the raincoat hat inside a crate hanging above you. Climb up the stacked cages next to it. At the top, leap across to the hanging crate. Climb up, and jump up and down a few times to drop the cage. Grab the hat from the broken crate below.
Football hat
Outside the school in Chapter Two. Walk up the steps to the entrance. Turn to your right and jump onto the dumpster to the side of the steps. The football hat is on top.
Tin can hat
In the school’s library section. You will see a ladder that can be wheeled along a metal pole. Grab the bottom rung and drag it across to the next gap in the book shelf that you can see.
Climb the ladder and jump onto the shelf to find the tin can hat on your left.
Teddy bear hat
Found in Chapter Three. Once you have turned the TV off in the waiting area, run along the corridor to your right until you reach the child’s play area room.
Climb up the bookcase on the right wall. Once you are at the top, take a few steps forward to grab the teddy bear hat.
Bandages hat
After you escape the Doctor and drop down into a morgue from a ceiling vent. Pull out a drawer from the cabinet on your left. Jump inside, and Six will push you through into a morgue on the other side.
There is a key you need to get in this room to open a locked door where Six is. Before you do that, run to the back of the room and open the door of the drawer in the image above. The bandages hat is inside.
Mail carrier hat
This can be found in the mail room during Chapter Four. Before you cross the gap in the first room by swinging from the light, drop down into the section below.
Turn left and head into the vent by walking up the pile of letters. The mail carrier hat is at the end of the vent.
Flat cap hat
The final hat is inside the shop, where you must navigate an electrified water puzzle to reach a TV to warp through. Grab the shopping trolley that you need to move around that hazard.
Before you push it down the ramp, place it next to the shelf in the image above.
Climb onto the trolley so you can reach the top of the shelf. Walk along the shelves back towards the entrance to pick up the flat cap.
