Yesterday, Electronic Arts via Origin revealed the Minimum PC System Requirements of Battlefield V. The surprising part was that it the requirements was identical to the Battlefield 1’s requirements. This caused a lot of confusion in the Battlefield Community and many were of the opinion that the listing is an error on EA’s part. This is what exactly it turned out to be.

Electronic Art has just updated the Battlefield V listing on Origin, and the Minimum PC System Requirement details are no longer available, it has been removed. It was a bit strange to see a PC Specs Requirement for a game full FIVE months prior to the release.

Battlefield V Minimum PC Specs Requirements Deleted

In any case, here is the listing of Battlefield V Minimum PC System Requirement (now deleted)

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 Kbps or faster Internet connection
  • Hard drive free space: 50GB for installation

The Recommended PC System Requirement was not listed and this was not a surprise because DICE has a partnership with Nvidia under which some of the Nvidia’s graphical tech and features will be supported in Battlefield V and to run them smoothly you need a beast.

Battlefield V is scheduled to launch worldwide on October 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
