So, we’re a couple months away from E3 2018, where a lot of new games are expected to be announced, revealed and displayed in all of their power both from a creative and a technological perspective.
From that point of view, Death Stranding would be one of the most anticipated titles as we’re still waiting for a bigger and clearer look at what the gameplay is like on top of at least a release window that should be 2019.
Considering he’s a huge friend of Hideo Kojima, it’s possible that he was invited at some offices where he showcased him the game or the portion of the title we’ll be witnessing at the upcoming E3 2018, whether it is a Sony office or Kojima Productions’.
“Controller POV since I can’t show game yet,” he said, so it’s clear he’s under some sort of NDA or embargo or personal deal with the people who showed him the game in question.
Looking at how much far we’re still are from E3 2018, it could be something that’s being showed him in a personal and friendly manner, so yes, if this impression gets confirmed, it might really be Death Stranding.
We’ll most probably learn at the upcoming E3, which kicks off in early June.
