In the Mission 2: The Main Event Walkthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4), you will continue fighting with guards in Fisk Tower, you have to access Fisk Console and then you will fight with The Kingpin Boss (Wilson Fisk) in the end.
Continuing from the Fisk Tower in the previous mission Clearing The Way, you will be facing some bigger challenges in this new mission The Main Event. You have to clear the way inside the Fisk tower by beating down the guards, there will be multiple waves until you finally reach the main boss Wilson Fisk – The Kingpin.
The Main Event Walkthrough
In this mission you will be have to take down the first boss of the game The Kingpin, you will earn 4100XP, Level 2, +10 Health and +1 Skill point.
Clear The Area of Fisk’s Men
You will reach a vent after talking to Aunt May, down you will be on the upper level with lots of enemies shooting you from the above lobby. Perform a Zip To Point move by pressing L2 + R2 to reach the lobby. You have to be quick here, because of constant firing. After taking down all the enemies there will be a second final wave. This will be fist fight. You will be testing some finisher moves here once you have a full Focus Bar. Press Triangle + Circle for a finisher move.
Enter The Server Room
Look on the opposite lobby, just opposite of the lift and you will see the marker that will take you to server room. Look on the left top for a vent, crawl through that and you can press Square for vent takedown, that means you can disable a enemy in stealth. Go to the further end and jump down, take down all the enemies and then access the console.
After a short cutscene, a group of guards will enter the server room, take down the two at the entrance first they have weapons. Outside, you will see a blast, jump up and deal with another wave of guards. Look on lobby on top, as you go up there will be another blast. Jump to the location and help a few trapped civilians. Use the web to pull down the fallen columns. After helping them look for a vent on the right top at the end that will take you to Fisk’s Office.
Go to the blast location and you will sot a man with a rocket launcher, hit the circle to dodge the rocket. There will be two more on the upper lobby, defeat them all and go a level up where you will find the office door. Inside walk through the debris and on stairs you will face a few more guards. Cross the red door and you will see a group of guards, with a shield. They are Fisk’s men, you have to fight them. To beat the men with shield attack from the backside, they can block your attack from the front.
Boss Fight: How To Defeat Wilson Fisk
Once you reach the red interact for a cutscene, next is a boss fight with Fisk. There are two stages of this fight. In the first Fisk will attack you with turrets, press the circle key to dodge the incoming bullet. You can hide behind the column for a while, next hit L1 + R1 to yank and throw the turrets. Fisk will throw a huge object on you hold L1 + R1 to return it. Use R1 to web him, as he can block your melee attacks. By blocking his movements he is vulnerable and you can attack him.
Fisk is a strong opponent, you have to keep using webs and throwables objects on him to make it vulnerable. For a while you will be fighting him in his office, the best way is to first web him and then throw objects at him. The second wave begins after he grabs Spider-Man and throws him away. He will summon some of this guards. So you will now be surrounded, guards and Fisk. Take down the small one first, web Fisk and attack the guards. When he grabs you press the Circle key to free yourself. Continue the same attack pattern, web him first and then use throwables on him. There is no health bar on him.
At the end, he will grab and throw you on the ground, press the keys on the right time to tackle his attack, next to the floor breaks, Press L2 + R2 for the final takedown. After defeating Fisk, the mission Main Event is over. You will earn Knocking down Kingpin trophy. You can navigate through the Skills section to get some new abilities, which are sorted into three categories Innovator, Defender, and Webslinger. At the start, you can go with Perfect Dodge. It offers you an ability to instantly shoot on enemies face with a web shot as soon as you see your Spider-Sense turns to blue. Hit the circle key for perfect dodge and it also generates extra Focus.
