How to Get Bonsly, Munchlax, Mime Jr., Mantyke, and Wynaut in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Here’s how you acquire the baby versions of Sudowoodo, Snorlax, Mr. Rime, Mantine, and Wobbuffet in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Breeding in Pokémon Sword and Shield is straightforward. You leave a female and male of the same Pokémon in a nursery for a little bit of time, come back, and get an egg for those two. You should receive the first evolution of that Pokémon. However, you need to put in a little more effort to acquire a Bonsly, Munchlax, Mime Jr., Mantyke, and Wynaut.

It’s important to note you can use a Ditto for breeding with any of the Pokémon mentioned above.

First, you need to acquire the Pokémon’s higher forms. In the order shared initially, you need to obtain a Sudowoodo, Snorlax, Mr. Rime, or Mr. Mime Galarian version, Mantine, and a Wobbuffet. Capturing these Pokémon will take a great deal of time, and you can find them all over the Wild Area. You may have better luck finding them all by beating the game and gaining access to Heavy Fog, which unlocks and has a chance to spawn in the Wild Area after you do it.

After acquiring all five of those Pokémon, you need to return to Hulbury. It’s to the northeast of Motostoke, where you fight the water Gym leader. Go there, and proceed down to the stands where you need to speak to the incense saleswoman. She’s the blonde woman who wants to sell you a series of fragrances. Talk to her, and you need to have each Pokémon holding these choices:

  • Sudowoodo needs the Rock incense
  • Snorlax needs the Full incense
  • Mr. Rime or Mr. Mime needs the Odd incense
  • Mantine needs the Wave
  • Wobbuffet needs the Lax incense

After you have them holding all of those fragrances, you can take them to the nursery on Route 5 and have bred them as you usually would. Upon returning for the Egg, you should have the baby versions of each respective Pokémon.
