BlazBlue Cross Tag Battles Character List (Current and Future)

The starting roster may be small, but its about to grow. Here’s every character in the game and coming soon.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle has finally arrived, bringing with it a bunch of current and future characters control in thrilling two-vs-two bouts.

Only 20 characters are available in the starting roster with a further 20 characters expected to be released in the first season of content. Arc Systems also has plans for an additional 20 characters in the future as part of a second season of DLC.

Arc System’s decision to release the game with half of its roster angered fans back in January, when the announcement was made. Fan backlash forced Arc Systems to change some of its plans by releasing the entire cast of RWBY characters as free DLC, instead of paid.

To appease fan backlash, these are the two characters you can expect to get as free downloadable content sometime in the future.

Paid DLC characters

Currently only nine of the 18 DLC characters has been confirmed with more expected to be revealed in the future.

The DLC characters release on separate dates depending on which system you are playing on. On Switch, for example, the DLC character won’t be available until June 28, nearly a week after the game’s release.
