Fire Emblem Heroes – Tier list
Assemble the best team possible with our list of Hero tiers in this mobile game.

It can be a daunting thing when diving into all the heroes available in Fire Emblem Heroes, given the sheer amount of ones you can choose from.
However, there are certainly some heroes who are better than others which is why we have compiled a guide on the different tiers each hero belongs to.
Generally speaking, if a character is labeled as a 5-star unit, they are probably worth keeping, but that doesn’t mean that anyone lower than that doesn’t deserve to have a spot in your line-up. It’s always important to keep in mind if a unit works well with the rest of your units, regardless of rating.
For this list, we have broken it down into four tiers:
- Tier 1 (Grade S) – The Very Best Heroes
- Tier 2 (Grade A) – Great Heroes
- Tier 3 (Grade B) – Above Average Heroes
- Tier 4 (Grade C) – Honorable Mentions
These tiers and heroes were curated from various threads, opinions, and lists around the game and the community. If a unit was not mentioned, it is because they were rarely, or never, mentioned, meaning we could not get an accurate opinion of them or they were generally regarded as bad.
Within each tier, we also have organized the heroes by color.

With this list, you can have a much better chance of assembling the best team possible. Beyond just this, remember that it is also important to remember how a unit can work with the rest of your team. Even if they are a part of a lower-tier, or not even mentioned in this list, if you know how to use them in a way that benefits the other units, then they can still be worth keeping.
In a game with so many units and options to use, this list can be a great way to start building the ultimate army.
