Are you taking in the views in Ghost Recon Breakpoint? There’s plenty to see in the game, and if you can catch your enemy off guard from a good enough distance, you can ambush them before they even know you were around. A great way to do this is by using binoculars. Here’s how you use them and equip them to your inventory.

How to Use Binoculars in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Before you can freely use them, you’re going to need to equip them to your quick access inventory. There are two rows of items available to you. You need to click on the bottom half of the inventory menu. The top half represents explosives, whereas the bottom gets used for medical items, buffs, and the binoculars. When you have those equip, you can freely pull them out of your inventory and use them like any other item.

While using them, they’re going to increase your distance by a considerable margin. The item works similarly to a scoped weapon, except you can scan objects, ping them for teammates, and gain more information. They’re handy to have in your inventory and should be one of your go-to items before you barge into a new location. If you don’t get enough intel, you’re going to find yourself finding out information far too late, and it may cost you dearly.

When you have binoculars open, and you can zoom in and out to adjust your perspective. If you’re using a mouse and keyboard setup, you can do this with the mouse wheel. Those who are using a controller are going to need to use the right and left triggers, respectively, and holding them down.

Make sure you’re marking any items or useful items you find before engaging in a particular area. The more intel you have before engaging the enemy, the more likely you are to walk away with fewer shots in the chest.
