In addition to a story mode with plenty of Yoko Taro’s dark style throughout, SINoALICE has an extensive multiplayer component tied to its Guilds system. Once you’re in a guild, you can participate in the Colosseum’s 15 on 15 PVP battles, guild missions, and other cooperative events.
How to join a guild
You can only join a guild once you have completed Chapter 2: Verse 10. Once you have done that for any character you will be able to access the Guild menu by tapping the Guild bar that is at the top of your screen when in any one of the (many) menus. From here you will be able to create a guild, search for guilds, and see any guilds that are openly recruiting.
Every guild can have a maximum of 15 players at a time. Some guilds that are recruiting will auto-accept any application so long as they have an opening, but others will require you to wait for the guild-master’s approval. There are several things you’ll want to consider when deciding what is the right guild for you.
Choosing a guild
One of the most important factors to consider when choosing or applying to a guild is that guild’s Colosseum time slot. Each guild will have a designated time slot when they can participate in Colosseum PVP battles. If a guild’s time slot doesn’t match up with a time you will generally be available, you’re not going to want to join that one—and they aren’t going to want you.
Guilds will also often be advertising to recruit players with a minimum level and specific job types, so it’s worth looking for a guild that is missing what you can bring to the table through whatever way you’ve specialized your character.
Once you’re in a guild you can join in Colosseum battles with the other members, as well as participate in cooperative events and missions. Beyond the fun of playing SINoALICE with friends, guilds receive numerous bonuses for playing together, such as extra Twilight Crystals and gold.
Leaving a guild
If a guild is not working out for you, you can easily leave. To do so, simply go into the list of guild members for your guild, and tap on your name. This will give you an option to leave the guild. You can join another guild immediately, although you will have to wait until the following day to join in any Colosseum battles.
