Advantage is a shared resource that powers some of the strongest abilities in Star Wars Zero Company. Unlike Action Points, Advantage belongs to your entire squad, meaning every Operator can contribute to the pool and every Operator can spend it. Understanding when to build and spend Advantage can make a huge difference in difficult fights. Here is our ultimate guide on how to gain and use Advantage in Star Wars Zero Company.
How to Get Advantage in Star Wars Zero Company
In Star Wars Zero Company, your squad gains 1 Advantage whenever one of your Operators damages an enemy, regardless of which Operator attacks or how much damage they deal. Also, there are certain non-damaging abilities and talents, such as Combat Recon (Scout Specialization), that generate Advantage.

The pool can hold up to 10 Advantage, so you should avoid sitting at the maximum for too long. Any additional attacks and abilities that would generate Advantage while you’re already capped won’t give you anything extra.
How to Use Advantage
Advantage is primarily used for Special Actions and Ultimate Abilities. Unlike normal attacks and abilities that consume Action Points, many Advantage abilities don’t use your Operator’s AP. This essentially gives your squad additional actions during a turn.

Since the pool is shared, you need to consider which Operator will get the most value from it. Spending several points on one ability means those same points aren’t available for another Operator. Also, using Advantage on a powerful attack to eliminate a dangerous enemy can be much more valuable than saving it for a later turn when your squad is already in too much trouble.
When Should You Spend Advantage?
You don’t necessarily want to spend Advantage immediately whenever you earn it. Instead, it’s best to save it for when the enemies are grouped, when your squad is low, and other specific scenarios where your abilities can have maximum value.
At the same time, don’t hoard Advantage unnecessarily. If you’re already close to the 10-point cap, it’s better to use an ability even if it won’t provide maximum value than to overcap your meter and waste Advantage generation.
