EA SPORTS FC 27 is set to launch on September 25, 2026, and Xbox players may be wondering whether the latest football game will be available through Game Pass. While Game Pass subscribers can get access to EA SPORTS FC 27 through EA Play benefits, there is an important distinction between the EA Play trial and full Game Pass access. Here is everything you need to know.

Is EA FC 27 on Game Pass?

EA SPORTS FC 27 is not currently confirmed as a full Xbox Game Pass release. EA’s official FC 27 information lists Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One among the game’s platforms, but does not announce the full game as a day-one Game Pass title.

However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have access to EA Play, which includes a 10-hour trial for EA FC 27 around its launch. This lets eligible subscribers play the game for a limited amount of time without purchasing the full game.

Can You Play EA FC 27 With Game Pass?

Yes, but Game Pass Ultimate subscribers should not expect unlimited access to the full game through their subscription at launch. Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, allowing members to use the EA FC 27 trial. If you want unlimited access to the full game, you’ll need to purchase one of the available editions separately.

EA FC 27 is also available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, alongside PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Will EA FC 27 Eventually Come to Game Pass?

EA has not announced when or if the full version of EA FC 27 will join the Game Pass library. Previous entries have eventually arrived through EA Play. For example, EA FC 26 joined EA Play in June 2026, giving Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers access through the EA Play catalog.

For now, though, EA FC 27’s Game Pass benefit is the EA Play trial rather than full-game access.
