Similar to Sinnoh Pokémon in Pokémon Go, the big Unova update happening today also comes with a handful of Pokémon that can only be caught in raids.
Of the handful of Pokémon added to the game today, Klink is the only Pokémon current exclusive to Raids (as well as Eggs but we can’t confirm that) and will not appear in the wild at all.
Raid Exclusive Unova Pokémon In Pokemon Go
Patrat and Lillipup will also appear in raids across the world but will also be catchable in the wild. It is also likely that this duo will sooner or later have Shiny variants, but those reports have not been confirmed at this time.
As the game progresses and more Unova Pokémon are added into the lineup, we will likely see legendary Pokémon like Reshiram and Zekrom also appear in raids sooner rather than later.
Of course, there is still plenty of other Pokémon to catch in the wild including Oshawott, Tepig, and Snivy, but those who want to complete the Unova Pokédex will need to grab a friend and hope for the best the next time they venture outdoors.
