Project Cars 3 is launching at the end of this month. The racing sim title arrives on August 27, and those gearing up to play it on PC will want to know what system requirements they will need to run it. Given how lovely Project Cars 3 looks, there will be some high specifications needed to help it run properly. Let’s get behind the wheel, start the ignition, and take a look.
Project Cars 3 minimum specifications
- Operating System – Windows 10 or specific versions of Windows 7
- Processor – 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5 3450 or 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
- Memory – 8 GB RAM
- Graphics – GTX680 or equivalent
- DirectX – Version 11
- Storage – 50 GB
- Additional Notes – For VR or triple screen use, GTX980 or equivalent
It will come as no surprise that Project Cars 3’s minimum specs are in the higher tier of system requirements. You won’t get by with an Intel Pentium processor or 4 GB of RAM, so ensure you have anything similar to the above if you want to run it at its base level.
Project Cars 3 recommended specifications
- Operating System – Windows 10
- Processor – Intel i7 8700k or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- Memory – 16 GB RAM
- Graphics – Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD RX5700
- DirectX – Version 11
- Storage – 50 GB
- Additional Notes – For VR or triple screen use, RTX 2070 or equivalent
As you will have guessed, playing the game at its optimum quality will require a huge increase in memory, a much faster processor, and a better graphics card. Windows 7 won’t cut it either, so make sure you have Windows 10 installed.
