The Settler Pistol in Rage 2 is a pre-order bonus that you can get if you bought into the game before launch. To get your hands on it, you will need to go through a couple of different steps. The pre-order bonus won’t just be resting in your inventory Ranger; you are going to have to put in a little bit of work for it.

You will need to link your Bethesda account to your copy of Rage 2 to access your pre-order bonuses. To do this, go to the Store option in the games main menu, then just put in your Bethesda.net username and password. I had to restart the game before it all seemed to work for me.

How To Get The Settler Pistol

Cult of the Death God

The first thing you will need to do is get yourself to the settlement called Gunbarrel. Once there, find Captain John Marshall, and he will give you a mission to help him turn the power back on. Head down into the sewer, clear out the mutants, and get the turbines working again. There will be a boss fight here, so don’t waste all your good ammo on the little guys. Once this is done, you will have access to the Cult of the Death God bonus mission. To start it up, hope in your vehicle and drive away from Gunbarrel. Marshall will call you on the radio and ask you to check on an old friend of his.

This is where it gets fun for people who played the original rage. Cult of the Death God sees you taking out a group of crazed mutants who worship Nicholas Raine, the protagonist of the first game. It seems that Raine killed so many mutants in the first game, that the survivors decided he must be some deity, and now they worship him as such.

Once this mission is completed, you will be rewarded with the Settler Pistol, and the Nicholas Raine armor set. Remember, you can only get this mission if you have pre-ordered the game, or have purchased the Deluxe Edition, or the Collector’s Edition.
