There are three missions covered in this Walkthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4), in A Fresh Start you will visit the lab, in Dinner Date, you will play as MJ and in the last one The Water Spout you will save Standish.
Spider-Man finds out who was Daemons Leaders and the possible reason behind their attacks in previous chapter Hidden Agenda. Next, there is two short mission where you will not be doing much. They are A Fresh Start and Dinner Date. In A Fresh Start you will just meet and help Dr.Octavius and the next one Dinner Date you will play as MJ. In the third mission Up The Water Spout, you will be saving Charles Standish – CEO from Daemons.
A Fresh Start Walkthrough
In this short mission, you will meet Dr.Otavius and help him out in his experiment. You can play mini-games for XP and unlocking new substances.
Head to the Lab
Go to the Lab and look for Dr.Otto’s. In the cutscene, you will see the doctor getting mad on Osborn. He will share his history with Norman. You will have to fix the arm with some mini-games. The solutions are below.
There will be the second cutscene, you can play the mini-games to earn XP and new substances. Next exit the lab and the mission is over. You will earn 3000XP for this, Level up 20 at least and a Skill point. For the next mission play some side-objectives until you get a call from MJ.
Dinner Date Walkthrough
Once again you will play a very short mission where you will control MJ who is investigating Tombstone.
Have Dinner with MJ
In the flashback you will play as MJ, you will have to investigate the office. You can distract the guards by pushing the crates. Look for white icons to interact with objects. There will be one inside the office, to get inside, follow the marker. Don’t walk into empty boxes and glasses, it can alert enemies. You will have to walk a long-way, just follow the marker, and wait for the guards to move away. On your way, you will came across a yellow machine with a green button on it, press it and stay there. Let the guard pass away. Stay in the cover is you are not seeing the marker, you will reach green barrels. Interact with it, and that will trigger a cutscene.
Search Tombstone’s Office
After Tomestone leaves, follow the marker, towards the office. You will see a blueprint, click the picture and then check the main desk. The chapter is finished after MJ and Peter Parker talks about the conspiracy between Osborn and Li. You will earn some 3000XP in the end, Level Up, +10 Health and a Skill point.
Up The Water Spout Walkthrough
In this mission you will have to save Standish from the Daemons, you will be visiting the penthouse and play in stealth.
Check out Standish’s Penthouse
Outside Penthouse there will be a firefight between Daemons and Police. Stop the Daemons and search the garage. After talking to the injured officer you will spot more Daemons, clear the enemies around. There will be a lot of them you can use your gadgets to clear your path fast. Once you are done clearing the enemies, go up through the elevator shaft. There will be more Daemons with weapons. Look for torch lights and you can easily take them down. You will have to crawl on three levels, on the last one you will have to dodge fire bombs and falling lifts.
Clear The Penthouse
Once you are in you will have to clear the Daemons in stealth. Scan for the enemies who are not showing up danger signs, and disarm them. Stay on the height, so that you can easily spot them. You can also use the objects around to crash on the guards. The penthouse is a long area with a lot of Daemons in it, so this will take some time. After you are done clearing them as you try to reach Standish you will be attacked by a Daemon with Sword. This will introduce Demon Swordsmen in the game. They are only vulnerable once they attack, you have to dodge and then counter attack to kill them. You can also attack them from behind.
Talk To Standish
After a short talk, there will be an attack, next you will have to save him. First, you will need to pull out the debris out of the way and then press L to hold him. The mission is over after Spider-Man talks to Yuri. You will earn 3000XP, Level up and a Skill Point.
Tombstone On the Move
After talking to MJ, she will tell you that she had dropped the tracker at the Lab. This will trigger a side mission Tombstone On The Move. Go to the lab to investigate it. There will be a small circuit puzzle. The solution is in above image. Exit the lab, and then follow the signal. Use the navigator on the left of the screen, just follow the direction of blue spot. You will reach a truck, stop it. Fight the gang and then check the truck. This completes the mission Tombstone On The Move. You can play further side-mission to locate Tombstone and fight him.
