What Is Behind The VIP Only Doors In Borderlands 3

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

If you are wondering if the entry fee to the VIP Only rooms on The Handsome Jackpot is worth it, we can tell you what we found in them.

Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC in Borderlands 3 introduced a whole new playable area to the game, The Handsome Jackpot. This space-faring casino will attempt to part its visitors from their cash in every way possible because Handsome Jack himself is the man behind it.

As you explore, you will notice VIP Only doors that you can open for a fee. Like all costs in the game, how much you pay will depend on how much money you own, so the cost of entry will always be relative to your current wealth.

Inside, you can find weapons lockers that usually contain some pretty lovely guns, lots of ammo crates, some boxes that include health and money, and in some of them, you can even find the new Blackjack crates. You need to beat the machine to open the crate and get what’s inside.

At the moment, we haven’t found anything genuinely amazing in them, and they do seem like a way to whittle away at your cash reserves. You do need to get a 21 in a game of Blackjack for the “Shoe Money Tonight” achievement, but there are plenty of Blackjack crates to be found in areas that don’t cost you in-game cash to enter.

We will open every VIP Only room that we find, and will update this article if we discover anything that you need in any of them. For now, it seems like Jack is just up to his old ways, and being dead isn’t stopping him from interfering with our efforts to save the galaxy.
