As is the case with traditional point-and-click adventure games, as you play through Cyanide & Happiness – Freakpocalypse, you will be doing a lot of searching for items. The various rooms and environments you see will have hidden objects you need to add to your inventory to progress in the story.
Early in the game, you need to get a fake hall pass so Holly Pass will stop threatening you with hall monitor brutality. To do this, you need to work with a group of kids who can make a forgery hall pass in exchange for you gathering ingredients for them to make “School Hootch” or toilet wine. Here is where to find the ingredients and complete the Hooch Mule main quest.
To begin, you need to talk to the group of Greaser-looking kids in the boy’s bathroom. They will give you a list of old fruit, yeast, a plastic bag, and sugar. Luckily, all the ingredients can be found in the few areas we can explore in the early part of the game.
The old fruit is found in the history class across the hall from the bathrooms. It is sitting on top of the bookshelf to the left of the teacher.
Yeast is found in the girl’s bathroom. There is a garbage can in the foreground where you can pick up the wrapper.
The plastic bag is found in the hallway to the far right. Next to the door to go outside is a little baggie hanging out of the trash can.
Finally, the sugar is found in the science class sitting on a desk near the front of the room.
When you have all four ingredients, return to the boy’s bathroom and talk to the group of kids again. They will make you a fake hall pass to show Holly. After you do that, you can freely roam the school’s hallways.
