No Man's Sky Experimental Update Improves Load Time

Hello Games has made some promising changes to the No Man's Sky PC version via the latest version of the Experimental Update. According to the details shared by the development team, the latest update improves load times, overall performance, fixes the long pending bug of shader generation which will improve the performance of the game on the low-end CPU.

No Man's Sky Experimental Update Improves Load Time

The developer reports that the new update improves the loading time of the game by a margin of 30 percent. Also, the update decreases the warp times by a margin of 5 to 10 percent. These improvements are going to impact the overall flow of the game - to check them out start the game after installing the update (STEPS to download and install the update is provided below) and check out the initial load time, and to check the improvement in the warp time make your way from one planet to another.

Another interesting improvement that has been made is as far as the graphical department is concerned: the appearance of in-game clouds for players with 1440p or 4K display. There are also some graphical improvements to the exotic biomes, space station technology merchants and buried technology modules.

If you are playing the game with Valve's Steam Controller then you will be happy to know that control mapping has been made better.

Follow the steps provided below to install the latest version of the experimental patch for No Man's Sky.

  • Step 1: From the Steam Library Right Click on the No Man's Sky.
  • Step 2: Select "Properties"
  • Step 3: From the set of available TABS select "BETAS" tab.
  • Step 4: Under "Select the beta you would like to opt into" drop-down menu select "Code: 3xperimental"
