Druid can do big things with the latest Boomsday Project cards

Some players are already getting pretty concerned about Druid—the class' new cards from The Boomsday Project can do big things.

The Boomsday Project is the next Hearthstone expansion, and it's arriving in just over a week.

Dreampetal Florist is a seven mana 4/4 Druid minion. At the end of your turn while it's on the board, it will reduce the mana cost of a random minion in your hand by seven.

Between this and cards like Flobbidinous Floop, there's a lot of Big Druid potential in this new set. Imagine using Juicy Psychmelon to draw some huge minions, then using this to reduce them. If you can hit this twice it's a huge tempo swing—but even if you can't cards like Floop make the mana reduction great for weaving in more threats.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
