Monolith Soft Hiring For The Next Legend of Zelda Game
Japanese studio Monolith Soft has revealed on its official website that it is hiring for the next Legend of Zelda game.
The developer is hiring programmers, designers, technical artists and support staff in order to ramp up for the next challenge.
Courtesy of ResetEra, we learn that the company has three studio: the main one is in Tokyo, working on Xenoblade (in the past, they also did design/environment design on Breath of the Wild).
Then, a second studio in Kyoto by Yasuyuki Honne, working on assets for Nintendo games (Animal Crossing, Splatoon, etc.).
The third, in Iidabashi, and we currently don't know what they're up to. It could be a mysterious project of their own.
From the looks of it, though, it seems Monolith Soft is working on two games: the next Xenoblade, which they've started to hire in late 2018 for, and the next Zelda game.
The next Zelda could've been in the making since late 2017, as they were already hiring for a fantasy game at that time.
This Zelda game should be in the making at the main studio in Tokyo, even though there's no confirm on that.
We've been told recently that, on top of Link's Awakening remake, there should be another Zelda title in the making.
We'll let you know as soon as more information about this title (and the next Xenoblade, of course!) reach the net.
