The team behind Anthem has had a little shake over the week because executive producers Mark Darrah, Michael Gamble, and game director Jonathan Warner have left the unit working on the game to focus the first two on Dragon Age 4, and the latter on vacation due to personal reasons.
On Twitter, Chad Robertson, who’ll be the leader of the team mainly composed by BioWare Austin staffers together with the other producer Ben Irving, has explained that this shift was already in the plans and that won’t change the focus of BioWare on supporting the title on the long run.
“We remain 100% committed to Anthem and look forward to showing players the new content we are working on,” he said.
“We want to make sure we aren’t overpromising, so our updates on what’s coming in the game will be focused when we have things near completion.”
Gamble also observed that the change wouldn’t mean anything in terms of how BioWare works on the post-launch season for Anthem, despite the core team at Edmonton will be working on Dragon Age 4 in the foreseeable future.
Along with @BenIrvo and I, we’ve got a big team between Austin and Edmonton focused and motivated for improving the game. We appreciate your support and for being on this journey with us.

Recently, BioWare has delayed the April content for the game to look further into the issues that are causing it not to be as good as fans hoped (especially for what matters loot).
