Battlefield 1’s last bit of planned DLC is coming to an end today with the debut of Apocalypse, which is now up for Battlefield 1 Premium members to download.
The content is up for grabs, as is usually the case, two weeks ahead of its official debut for non-Premium members. So if you’re part of that club you can hop online and enjoy the new content as well as a patch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players.Â
The Apocalypse expansion transports players to some of the most nightmarish battles seen in World War I, and if you’re looking for some gritty action, you’ll definitely want to try out the five new multiplayer maps that take you through Passchendaele and Caporetto through the River Somme.
London Calling and Razor’s Edge round out the rest of the maps available today, and both were created especially for air combat in the new Air Assault game mode. If you want to take your dogfighting expertise and put it to the test, these maps should offer great options for doing so.Â
There’s also a slew of new vehicles, weapons, gadgets, and more with the debut of Apocalypse, including new ranks, Dog Tags, Service Assignments, and Specializations. There’s a lot to sift through, so if you’ve been playing around in other games waiting for new content to drop in Battlefield 1, now’s the time to jump back in.
