“There are no more Battlepacks. Instead, players will be able to choose their rewards directly or through rank up events,” the software house told a fan on Twitter, hinting at more news on this topic are coming soon.

The EA Play 2018 event in June will provide us with more details about what’s coming as part of the core mechanics of the gameplay and the progression, something that Star Wars Battlefront II has done really bad, and is, therefore, one of the hottest topics in the community.

As we’ve already reported, DICE has also confirmed that the game won’t be featuring a Premium Pass for the expansions with maps and items, nor loot boxes, contrary to the previous titles from the same studio.

Battlefield V is releasing on October 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
