With a tweet on the game’s official Twitter account, Bandai Namco and From Software have confirmed a network test is incoming for Dark Souls Remastered on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The test was announced last week at Nintendo Direct, and now we have a further confirmation of it together with all the platforms which are set to receive the demonstrative version. It is also serving as a test to put into place all the measures to grant a smooth launch.

Dark Souls Remastered Network Test

“Before the release of DARK SOULS REMASTERED, a Network Test will be conducted on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch,” the tweet says. Unfortunately, no new information were attached to the message.

“Dates and details” indeed “will be made available as soon as possible. Please inform your compatriots, we will require the assistance of as many souls as possible.”

Dark Souls Remastered is launching on May 25 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, featuring a bigger PvP component on top of new graphics rebuilt taking advantage of the power of the latest consoles and platforms.
