To help celebrate this announcement, the studio also launched a brand new gameplay trailer, focusing on the game’s high-octane action. Check out the new trailer below, which features the new map and weaponry coming to the game.

The gameplay shown focuses on the classic World War II game experience of close-quarters combat in enclosed spaces. Players will run around closed-off city blocks, fighting their way through intense battles with grenades flying and bullets coming out of every alleyway. Driven Arts has said it was inspired to make Days of War by Valve’s classic Day of Defeat.

Those who sign-up for the closed beta have a chance to be the first to try out all of the new things coming to the game. To sign up, visit the official website and input a valid email address. From there, you’ll want to monitor your email for the next few weeks to see if you are chosen to participate.

Spots for the closed beta are limited, so make sure you submit your email early to give yourself the best chance of getting into the closed beta. If you’d like to continue following Days of War and stay involved in the community, you can follow the game’s official Twitter page. For those curious about the road map for the game, Driven Arts has posted an open Trello page detailing their current and future plans.
