Hideo Kojima has shared a new screenshot coming from Death Stranding in the effort to start teasing the reveal of the game which is about to drop, finally, at PlayStation’s E3 2018 showcase in June.
The teaser isn’t really anything that big, featuring a pic of the moss as it is being built in the Decima engine which was provided by Horizon: Zero Dawn and Killzone developer Guerrilla Games.
It’s interesting to note, though, that the moss could be an element that could be new to the title. What we’ve seen thus far of the title has never showcased particular elements of vegetation, so that could be a component of novelty in anticipation of the next gameplay trailer.
Of course, what we’re all expecting from the showcase is to learn more about the proper gameplay of the title and a release window, that should be set around the second half of 2019 on PlayStation 4.
We’re very close to the PlayStation E3 2018 media briefing, which is coming as soon as Monday, June 11 at 6 PM PDT. In that occasion, we’ll learn all the details about the game, or at least this is what we’re hoping for.
