Art Director Jason Connell has shared more information about the Ghost of Tsushima open world, an environment we’re yet to see in action as the E3 2018 demo was just a quite limited side quest.

From what Connell told the GamesTM magazine, we learn that the biggest challenge he faced over the course of the development process was to make all that amazing art move, feel living and breathing as an open world should do.

“Having everything move, if it can move make it move, was a very ambitious goal for us from the very beginning. and we’re achieving it! you walk around the game world and you’ll be like ‘Oh my god, everything around me is moving!’,” he explained (via WCCFTech).

It’s something rather understandable, especially if you consider that Sucker Punch worked on completely different games in terms of art style and gameplay – the same inFamous, although being an open world, had a total different tone and combat system.

Ghost of Tsushima is still lacking a release date and, looking at the state of the development, there’s a chance it won’t drop anytime before 2020 on PlayStation 4.
