Get the chance to try out Hunt: Showdown on the Xbox One later this spring
Hunt: Showdown is coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Preview, the platform’s early access program. The developers, Crytek, announced this back in fall, but now there’s an official timeline, and with the new announcement comes a trailer.
Hunt: Showdown first arrived at Steam’s early access in February 2018. Since then, Crytek has added a new series of weapons, a brand new map, and have plans to introduce a crafting system.
For those who haven’t played the game, Hunt: Showdown is about players dropping into an infested Louisiana swamp filled with zombies, hellhounds, and other undesirable monsters. The players are bounty hunters, equipped to take down these nasty creatures and are on the hunt for the bigger prey hidden throughout the map. All the while, players are facing off against others in a race to get to the big bounty first, and whoever leaves the map with the marks, gets the big payout. If a player dies while playing the game, that player’s hunter dies for good. You can play with a partner.
Xbox One players are going to get their chance to try out the game this spring. For more details, check out the official website.
